So one of the shows that has added to this current golden age of the television era ended last night. While Boardwalk Empire‘s ending was mediocre at best, it doesn’t tarnish the overall scope of the series itself. But I’m not making this post to talk about that show, which was one of the best on television. There was a song that played over the closing credits, and I’ve been listening to it for most of the day. Norah Jones’ remake of If You Want The Rainbow, You Must Have The Rain is a catchy little tune from the 20’s (a staple of the show was that each episode usually ended with a song of that era). It’s a nice song, and the lyrics make sense given how the show ends. I thought I’d share. If you haven’t seen the show, give it a watch and see why so many fell in love with Boardwalk.
